Electrical Panel & Service Upgrades in NYC
100A → 200A upgrades, new services, meter pans, and code corrections.
If your home still runs on a 100-amp panel or an old fuse box, you may be out of capacity the moment you add central A/C, an EV charger, an electric dryer, or an addition. We upgrade NYC homes to a modern 200-amp service — pulling the required NYC electrical permit, coordinating the Con Edison reconnect, and leaving you a clean, fully labeled panel that's safe and ready for whatever you plug in next.

Common questions
Do I need a permit to upgrade my electrical panel in NYC?
Yes. A panel or service upgrade requires a NYC electrical permit, and the work is inspected. We handle the permit and the Con Edison coordination as part of the job.
How long does a panel upgrade take?
Most residential 100A→200A upgrades are completed in a day. The power is off only for part of that while we cut over to the new panel.
Why would I need a 200-amp panel?
Central A/C, EV chargers, electric dryers/ranges, heat-pump equipment, and home additions all add load. A 200-amp service gives you the headroom these need without nuisance trips.
